Hello! I hope everyone had a blessed and safe Thanksgiving. It's officially the holiday season! Hopefully, you guys took advantage of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales and got a jump start on your Christmas shopping. Or if you're like me, you procrastinate every year. The holiday season brings about parties, which gives us fashionistas plenty opportunities to dress up. Perhaps, the outfit of the week will help to get your fashion creative juices flowing for whatever event you might have coming up this holiday season.
Houndstooth is a timeless, classic print for Fall/Winter. For this look, I decided to be bold and wear print on print, serving houndstooth overload. I'm wearing a houndstooth cropped blazer with houndstooth high waisted shorts (both purchased at forever 21). I paired the blazer and shorts together. I wanted to keep the color scheme of black and white, so I added a black turtleneck (purchased at forever 21). For accessories, I'm wearing a black beret, fishnet stockings (both purchased at forever 21), gold CHANEL brooch, CHANEL earrings, and black CHANEL handbag (all purchased at CHANEL). For shoes, I'm wearing black OTK boots (purchased at lulus). To finish the look, I added my black over sized sunglasses (purchased on amazon).
The great thing about wearing a two piece suit is that you can create several looks by wearing the blazer and shorts separately. This outfit looks sophisticated, chic, and edgy! Don't be afraid to show skin in the Fall/Winter, just add tights or stockings depending on the climate. I hope this look inspires you as you're preparing for the holidays!
