The holiday season is rapidly approaching and I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. Thanksgiving is next week, Christmas next month, and there are only 45 days left in 2018! I know, scary right?! I remember growing up, I couldn't wait for the holiday season; having Thanksgiving dinner with family, watching Christmas movies, listening to Christmas carols, looking at the Christmas lights, and exchanging gifts. Now that I'm grown, I look forward to the holiday fashion! I know I can't be the only one that gets dressed for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner only to sit around the house. My family make jokes every year and ask why I'm dressed up and I'm not going anywhere. Personally, I don't need a special place to go to slay, it's in my DNA!
For this look, I incorporated holiday colors. Green and red are popular festive colors for the
holiday season. I'm wearing a hunter green turtleneck paired with a plaid mini skirt (both purchased at forever 21). The hunter green compliments my skin tone. For accessories, I'm wearing a hunter green beret (purchased at forever 21), faux fur stole (purchased at lulus), leopard print clutch (purchased at Love Cortnie), I love to mix prints so I added leopard and plaid print. For shoes, I added a pop of color by wearing these amazing red OTK boots (purchased at Steve Madden). I hope this helps as you're preparing to slay the holiday season!
